Use cases

Who uses it, why, and how.

ZD Terminal is ZandD's shared trading desk. Members use it to start every session from the same facts, test ideas before risking anything, and learn from a journal that writes itself.

Who it's for

ZandD traders

Plan the session, review setups and keep a paper journal, on the desk or on the phone.

Analysts

Rank the universe, check seasonality and fundamentals, and backtest a rule before it reaches the team.

Team leads

Share the morning plan by e-mail, review the journal and keep risk rules consistent.

New members

Learn the playbook with paper trades and the measured history behind every setup.

Why a company app

Trading groups lose time to scattered screenshots, chat threads and personal spreadsheets. ZD Terminal puts one plan, one set of levels and one journal in a signed app that every member installs the same way. It runs on ZandD's own server, so research and notes stay inside the company, and the App Store keeps every device on the latest version.

A day with ZD Terminal

  1. Futures check

ES and NQ trade while the stock market sleeps. The home screen shows each contract's move since the 4:00 pm close and the open it implies for SPY and QQQ.

  2. Pre-market plan

The morning e-mail and the app show the bias, key levels and conditional plans for SPY, ES, QQQ, NQ, DIA, IWM and TLT, with each plan's five-year record and size in shares or contracts.

  3. The open

Plans flip from pending to triggered as levels trade. Load a plan into the paper ticket; risk rules block anything too large.

  4. Idea review

The scanner ranks breakouts, pullbacks and 200-day reclaims across 117 large caps. Ask the AI coach for the case against a setup before taking it.

  5. Research & backtests

Data refreshes on its own. Test a rule with Monte Carlo and out-of-sample checks, or study 20 years of seasonality.

  6. Journal

Every paper fill is already journaled. Add the setup and a note; the insights show what works for you, measured.
